These folks know how to do NY style pizza! After 5 years in Central Florida, we finally found pizza that reminds us of being back in Brooklyn. Delivery drivers are always super courtesy. Ordering online is a breeze. Don't sleep on this place if you're in the area and looking for a damn good pie!

We came in and ordered a slice of Hawaiian pizza, a cheesesteak sandwich, Parmesan cheese fries, and onion rings. We got some fountain drinks and waited for our food. While we waited, an uninvited bug walked by and we decided to change tables. The food arrived. The fries were regular fries, the onion rings were really good, the pizza was tasty but maybe undercooked (or too soft), and the cheesesteak was salty. We ate everything and we got a complimentary cannoli because of the bug. While we dined, the owner came around and we talked about lots of stuff. For example, Scorpio's uses highly refined peanut oil, safe for people with peanut allergies, and it shows on the quality of the onion rings. He also makes his own pasta, gnocchi, and several sauces. We even went in the kitchen to see his pasta machine. This alone should make Scorpio's a top dinning experience. I can't wait to go back and visit this family owned restaurant, have some gnocchi with pesto or some fettuccine Alfredo.

Pleasantly surprised!!! Wanted something different so decided to try Scorpio's, ordered first, read reviews after like a dingdong and got scared. Am pleased with what arrived and that it arrived 25min early. The Calamari was crisp, the breading had good flavor, their marinara was sweet and tangy with just the tiniest spice on the back end . Would've preferred a lemon wedge over a slice but it still squeezed decently. Even got the pepperocini I asked for though lol I should've been more clear and asked for rings not wholes. My wife ordered her hand tossed pizza 1/2 & 1/2 but we're guessing the website didn't acknowledge it because it wasn't labeled that way on the receipt and that's not how it arrived, her topping choices were 100%. Her crust was slightly undercooked but even so it wasn't terrible. She did wish the bottom of her box was foil lined like mine as it got a bit soggy sitting on the table. She did enjoy it and suggested we eat here again. My Sicilian crust was undercooked on top and slightly burnt on the bottom but the burnt wasn't horrid except for the extreme outer edge which was nearly impossible to chew. I would likely not order the Sicilian crust again but overall the pizza was good. I appreciate the bottom of the box being foil lined. Expecting sausage crumbles not slices, I over ordered sausage but now I know better for next time. Slices were a nice surprise, especially when everywhere else does crumbles mostly. My biggest complaint is the advertisement for Christmas at Journey Church on the boxes. We don't do Christmas as my wife is Jewish and I'm Wiccan so I don't appreciate having an advertisement for it with my supper. We'll very likely eat here again, their menu has a number of tempting items.
